Nested in the Santa Cruz Mountains between San Gregorio State Beach and the Town of La Honda is a privately held camp owned and operated by Optimist Volunteers for Youth, Inc. (OVY).
Our non-profit corporation is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable camping experience for disadvantaged youth. OVY sponsored camp seasons have hosted up to 150 children per week.

Providing and maintaining a safe, enjoyable environment and character building opportunities for all young people, while promoting service, volunteerism and leadership within the community.
OVY Camp & Event Center has provided a beautiful and rustic escape for the Bay Area community since 1952. The Camp has hosted 150 children during a camping session, games and Camp Programs. OVY also rents its facilities as an Event Center to corporate and non-profit groups for parties, trainings and to private groups for parties and informal weddings.
