Happy New Year! On behalf of everyone at OVY Camp, we hope you and your family are doing well to begin the new year. We are very excited to announce that we have officially posted dates and registration information, including volunteer-CIT and paid-Staff applications, for OVY Camp 2022 on our website: www.ovycamp.org. We're back!
We are very excited to be able to offer our fun and affordable summer camp program after 2 years of being shut down. Please help us spread the word about our amazing and affordable summer camp program!
Campers: Entering 5th-9th Grades
One week of overnight summer camp at OVY Camp still costs as little as $25.00 per youth! Online registration is available on our website: ovycamp.org. This can be done on a phone, tablet, or computer. All families must register their campers online, although you will still have the option of sending a money order in the mail. If you registered online last year, you can use the same profile this year - just be sure to update all your camper's information. It must be current!
Volunteer Counselors-in-Training (CIT's): Must have completed their 9th grade by the start of camp
We will be accepting all applications for our volunteer CIT Program online at ovycamp.org. You are eligible to apply to the CIT Program if you are entering 10th grade next school year. Please be sure to rank each session 1-5 (1 being your first choice and 5 being your last choice). Previous campers can use their camper profile from last year! Acceptance to a session is conditional on the FULL completion of the application. If accepted, you will be accepted to a maximum of two weeks.
Staff: Come join our amazing team this summer!
This is not just another summer job - becoming a Staff member at OVY Camp is an opportunity to make a lasting and positive impact on children. You will be a part of a small, team-oriented staff that is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with the campers, leading fun and exciting activities, and creating an inclusive atmosphere for all. OVY Camp 2022: Summer Camp is Back!!!
Hello OVY Camp Community,
Our mission continues! Mark your calendars! After 2 years of running alternative camp programs due to the pandemic, we are thrilled to announce that OVY Camp 2022 will get back to our traditional, week-long summer camp programs again this summer. We will start accepting camper registrations and volunteer & staff applications on Monday, January 24, 2022.

As of December 2021, the San Mateo County Health Department has not started to issue permits for summer camps in 2022 just yet. So while we have not received our permit to run OVY Camp 2022, we feel confident we will be allowed to safely host OVY Camp 2022 come June 2022!
Health & Safety
OVY Camp has always emphasized good health and proper hygiene at camp, even before the pandemic. We will build on OVY Camp’s communicable disease prevention plan to ensure all health & safety guidelines required by the San Mateo County Health Department, including for COVID-19, are met or exceeded.

OVY Camp is committed to always providing families with the MOST AFFORDABLE and the HIGHEST QUALITY summer camp options for their youth. You simply will not find a more affordable summer camp experience in the Bay Area!
OVY Camp raises funds all year long to subsidize the cost of camp so that all Bay Area youth have the opportunity to go to camp.
Based on an honor system*, no paperwork or verification is required; simply select the registration fee that is appropriate for your family’s current financial situation. This information is kept completely confidential.
Tier 1: $500. - Tier 2: $250. - Tier 3: $150. - Tier 4: $50. - Tier 5: $25

We are excited to announce that we are now accepting registrations for Family Camp at OVY Camp this summer! This is a brand new opportunity, different from our traditional week-long summer programs!

Unpack those sleeping bags, round up the family and join us for a fun-filled weekend at OVY Camp. Rent one of our 12 cabins and fill your weekend with all sorts of classic camp activities led by the amazing Staff of OVY Camp! Family Camp at OVY Camp is a fun, safe, and affordable way to spend time with your family in a beautiful, relaxed camp setting. Come enjoy the fresh air and sunshine! Don't miss this opportunity to have a great weekend with your family - all while maintaining social distancing from others! This is the most affordable Family Camp weekend in the Bay Area!
This is a full-weekend program (Friday-Sunday) with families sleeping at OVY Camp in one of our cozy cabins at OVY Camp’s beautiful campground in the Santa Cruz Mountains. All meals, activities, and an OVY Camp t-shirt are included in the prices listed below.

Cost of Family Camp at OVY Camp
Family Camp at OVY Camp is specifically for families that otherwise couldn't afford an overnight summer camp experience. Full refunds will awarded if Family Camp has to close for unforeseen circumstances.
OVY Camp is committed to always providing families with the MOST AFFORDABLE summer camp options for their youth. You simply will not find a more affordable Family Camp experience in the Bay Area.
If your family needs assistance paying the following fees, please call the OVY Camp office at (650) 747-0321. We do not want cost to be the reason your family cannot attend Family Camp this summer.
All fees include meals, lodging, arts & crafts materials, pool time, and an OVY Camp t-shirt for every participant!
Cabin Fee = $125.00
Adults (18+)* = $125.00 per person
Youth (9-17)* = $75.00 per person
Youth (2-8)* = $50.00 per person
*Age at the time of Family Camp Weekend
Payment due within 10 days of being accepted into Family Camp
